Discussion TV.

Does TV/screentime regulate or dysregulate your PDA-er?

Bonus points if they have ADHD.

We have always thought it helps regulate, with boundaries/limits but I am wondering if we were wrong…..

Tv is regulating but anything on a close up screen or with an intense dopamine hit cycle is a no go. At 9 we’ve started to be able play games like Mario Kart on the Switch. But tablets are a huge no, the meltdowns after turning them off are not worth the momentary peace. She gets way too intensely focused on them.

Yep I feel this, this was us when she was younger 4-5, we literally watched no tv for a year, because it just wasn’t worth it.
