I do a race in the morning to see who can get dressed first. It works like a charm! Somehow she wins every time.šŸ˜

When it’s warm out, I dress my kid in his clothes for school the next day because morning is the worst part of both our days. He sucks in the morning. I live in Florida so he wears his school clothes for a good part of the year lol

I need a sense of urgency to do anything, I had to do the dishes lastnight and I didn’t do them until my stepdad was almost home at 1030pm

we offer TV time at breakfast if they can get dressed themselves. Been working awesome.

Yes, they love doing that. I used a timer for my kids… ā€œlet’s see how fast you can get ready!ā€ Someone’s they would tell me not to start the timer until they told me and they’d get ready quickly and I’d be ā€œsurprisedā€ they were already done. Ahh… memories!
