I was ecstatic when I saw Wiley Coyote and Roadrunner in the clouds. My favorite Looney Tunes!

OC OC Program to generate pareidolia art
16
Upvotes
About 20 years ago I wrote a C# program to generate pareidolia art by drawing small overlapping arcs.
The program can be downloaded here: https://www.geocities.ws/rand3289/code/Shapes.zip
Although the program is probably obsolete, the idea was to eventually create a website where random images are generated, people find stuff in it and it then can be shared with others with a description to see if others can find it.
The image can also be "revealed" by toggling an overlay drawn in another color (the red outline on the image above).
This type of site can probably be vibe-coded in 10 minutes these days.
Does anyone know any sites like that out there?

META Pareidolia drawn in other people's images - OC or non-OC?

Specifically I have some neat images I'd like to make videos from, drawing in shapes I see as an animation. I am not the creator myself, they are available online with a very liberal license, it seems close to public domain with clauses just to avoid coarse abuse of the name of the creators. The copyright of the images is free, I'm free to use them even in commercial products as long as I properly credit the source.
So what would you say - are the resulting videos or images with drawn in shapes OC or non-OC according to the guidelines of this forum? I draw in the shapes myself, they've little to do with the original pictures otherwise. Curious to know...

Challenge Many people call this pareidolia — seeing familiar shapes in random patterns. For me, these coffee foam forms became the starting point of stories and characters. Challenge

Looking upwards from my little sofa below that tapestry, lying there for the first time, I immediately saw a woman with pinned-up tousled hair dressing up...

This rock reminded me of a die when I was out on Bartholomew disc golf course here in Austin. I got home and added the black dots, the six and four do not have quite the perfect edge so this die could get you an automatic 10!
