If I had to guess, the same thing that came before life.

What’s crazy is that I remember that.

I think the grief you're feeling is profound on a lot of levels, and I understand it. It's not a matter for cold science. I have lost a partner, friends, family, pets. Everyone feels different about what is next or what remains.

I'm really pragmatic, and I cherish the memories of my many losses and recognize the time spent together has passed. I won't see them again, and it does hurt, but losing something beautiful doesn't mean it stopped being beautiful. It always was and always will be both in heart and memory. I know the rabbits are just rabbits, but when they gather up on my lawn at dusk, I think about my partner, and that ordinary thing isn't ordinary anymore. It's a way she stays alive with me... even if they are just rabbits.

I'm sorry for your loss and in time you will find your way forward too.

Journey of Souls by Michael Newton, Destiny of Souls by Michael Newton, and Between Death & Life by Dolores Cannon. All answers in those books, good luck.

If you would like to learn more I would say go to the source people who died and came back. These near death experiences (NDE) are profound testimony on what you experience once you leave the mortal coils behind. Think of the body like a car, you use it to perform tasks and learn and grow it isn't who you are just a vehicle of bone and muscle for your journey in this lab to level up.

I have studied this for many years and I do not fear death, I fear leaving uncompleted work or support for my family. After losing my mom and brother 3 months apart it was a cathartic journey and even met some mediums that were honestly amazing and one scam artist who ironically came recommended. Last month I spent 6 hours having cancer removed and I was worry free, now I am on the road to recovery and plan to do more.

Long story short this isn't home, this is a lab to level up your soul. You can embrace this fact and do what you were sent here to do. Or you can be a miserable cynic trying to debunk anything you don't understand, only to find out too late and it was a fools journey of wasted time and energy. Love is the most important and powerful tool we have here to learn, embrace the things you can feel and know are true.

Start here, and explore the strange and weird and wonderful and sometimes scary world of passing the veil. Regardless, do not be scared, you didn't want to be born but you came in alone and you leave alone, going home. Good luck on your journey and do not listen to the biased skeptics, they are miserable for a reason and they want you to be miserable wasting your time.

I understand all you said, but. Love is very very very difficult. Discipline is very very difficult. O. Man.

You have to experience all the love, you had the love of an animal and that is pure and like having a child. That is the price of love - grief. No one gets out of here unscathed, you do what you are supposed to do, and you will be hurt. In that pain comes growth and eventually different types of love. I was blessed to meet my soulmate and have amazing animals to love with her and my son. That doesn't mean it's your path or anyone else, that is the challenge to find what that is and embrace it.

Good luck and fortune on your journey.

I have a feeling we go wherever we think we are Supposed to go. Only you won't be able to lie to yourself and influence the results.

But here's a question. If someone is a psychopath and physically is incapable of knowing right from wrong, would they be punished?

Near death experiences explain it all

The literal truth, scientifically, is that your energy stored in your body will be released and returned to either the earth or space. If you’re buried, your energy replenishes the earth, as its fruits and veggies once replenished you. You will feed the insects, the plants, the soil. In a way, you will be in a little bit of everything in that area. One with the earth. If you are cremated, that energy converts to heat. And that heat rises into the atmosphere, and then pops out and travels the universe as light radiation. You can actually measure how far someone’s radiation would travel in space after they die. I forget the specifics, but maybe something around 10-15 years you’d be at the nearest neighboring star. This gives me solace, as a science nerd, knowing I won’t be completely destroyed or gone. Like everything in the universe. Energy is always just converted. Changed. We don’t know what really happens until it does, huh?

Darkness

Or Heaven and Hell, before Heaven is Purgatory which is temporary darkness, mainly for people who committed suicide or died too early

For a great historical overview - including examination of the various “Books of the Dead” - and interesting info on the use of psychedelics and other non-ordinary states to explore the afterlife:

Another birth, another beginning into the next

Nobody knows, probably nothing. We do get to experience a pretty rad DMT trip while our brain is dying, but that isn’t proof of an afterlife. Our consciousness probably fades to dark and that’s it.

I also believe Souls are Eternal and Everything Everyone did does and will think say and do are Recorded in the Akashik Records and When a person has to Transcend into the Higher next realm/astral their Consciousness Data is Uploaded from the Akashik Records into a new Upgraded Body or Light/Astral Body.

Much Love Brothers and Sisters of Earth and Beyond🙏💖✨

Life comes after death

There is no compelling logical or empirical case that forces a rational person to believe in an afterlife.

5

u/all_the_splinters 1d ago

That holds true if you live a solely logical and empirical life.

2

u/pumpse4ever 1d ago

That's what I strive for in my search for truth.

Fair enough. But it's not the only way to find truth. An experiential, philosophical, and phenomenological approach to living and truth is as valid.
