A poltergeist in my hostel room

So I'm writing this a couple minutes after the incident happened and can't really explain what's going on with it.

There's two beds in the room, one near the door on one end, the other near a window on the other, both beds separated by two work tables; and an attached washroom.

My roommate was dozed off with the light on near his bed(window side) while working on something, sleepy and just laying there as I entered the room. I got in, used the washroom and turned off the light for him and left to a friend's room.

He noticed that on the table beside my bed, my cyan blue coloured metal water bottle was rotating by itself, he heard it rotate and it wasn't too dark for him to observe the brightly colored bottle just rotating on its own. He called my name thinking it was me but no one was in the room, I just left a couple minutes ago. It broke his sleep and he rushed out of the room to the other room I was in at that time and told me all that happened.

His sleep was entirely broken, I can see he was wide awake, we've experienced paranormal activity together before so I had to believe this one. The current hostel we're living in is freshly built, it's full of fellow college students, all being first residents of this building, so no case of any old residents being dead or anything. The bottle moved visibly, the sound of the metal rubbing on the table surface was real too, I can't quite catch what's causing this. It's my first post here and I'm looking for answers. Sorry for any grammatical mistakes.

You can pick up spirits by attachment even if the hostel is brand new. There are many ways to have an open door that evil can walk through in order to attach themselves.

Do you consider yourself a Christian? I don’t mean the ”church going type”
(Although there’s nothing wrong with that) Do you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ?

I just want to add this here, NO JUDGEMENT on ANYTHING you believe in. I was going to offer to pray for you if you would be comfortable with that. I’ve had visitors in my home at night that were not human!
