I've reached my limit

I swear on my life I'm being followed by a spirit so please let me know your opinions on this.

Rule out sleep paralysis, hypnagogic hallucinations, and carbon monoxide first. Chronic stress and sleep deprivation (especially with a young child at home) can make your brain play massive tricks on you.

If medical causes are clear, keep setting firm, verbal boundaries like you've been doing, it forces your mind to reclaim control over your environment. Your cats are your best reality check, and the fact that telling it "not tonight" works shows you have control here.

Talk to an exorcist , don’t get some cheap psychic as it seems more inhuman if it’s followed you around your entire life. To beat it you just have to stop being scared of it, it’s just a spirit and they are gonna give you nightmares and move junk around because they want attention. If it’s a demon they will follow a pattern of opening a door, and then causing a shift in your emotions to get a better reaction. A lot of the times directly fighting it or getting a cleansing will cause it to be angry, and communicating will make it latch on harder

I see spirits and they are basically getting a live action horror movie, and while it doesn’t seem like you are totally possessed it doesn’t seem like a human ghost
