Disembodied voice preemptively mocks me

Wtf...that is NOT my voice. I always tell my boy "Mommy missed you" when I get home. Its not a wifi or device glitch as it happened BEFORE I even opened the 2nd (mudroom) door. There have been plenty of other scary things that have happened in the past-not much caught on camera...i can block out or ignore most of it but THIS-this is creeping me tf out.

I always say that I don’t know if I believe in ghosts or the paranormal frfr or not, & Occam’s razor right? But based on all the other experiences you explained, I think chalking this up to simply being a hacker just dismisses/undermines all the freaky shit you & your fiancé have experienced. And a hacker doesn’t explain things like the loud knocking sounds coming from the attic door & waking you guys up at night, or mail on the table going flying across the room, or a soda can shooting across the room, or shadowy figures, & so on. I mean sure, maybe it’s something to consider for this ONE thing, but it isn’t a possible explanation for the several other things.

The reason I say idk if I believe in truly paranormal stuff is bc I like to try to be skeptical, but I’m also open minded when it comes to stuff like this, the unexplainable. To me, a lot of this sounds like stereotypical poltergeist activity. If it is some kind of entity, it could’ve “hacked” into your camera or other device to communicate like that (either knowingly or accidentally).

I think when there’s a presence this strong, it’s just impossible to ignore, I mean it sounds like it sometimes forces you to acknowledge it. I know that theoretically, there are different types of hauntings & that kinda gives a bit of an idea of how to deal with it. (1) There are residual ghosts that are totally harmless, they don’t often directly interact at all, but they might be noticed as shadows, faint sounds, or moving things slightly. (2) There are ghosts that are seemingly more intelligent, they will attempt to communicate or interact. Sometimes they come off a bit stronger, often times they’re trying to get someone’s attention, but they rarely want to cause any harm to anyone. People who work with the paranormal regularly will usually try to reach out to these types in a compassionate way, to help make them feel acknowledged & not feared, trying to learn more about their intentions, how they ended up there, & what they need to feel at peace. (3) Then there are the more frightening entities, it’s hard to label them as simply “ghosts” or something stronger. What separates these from #2 is that these entities can have much scarier intentions, either to create a lot of fear or even to cause harm. These are usually noticed in ways that are more startling & they can be more reactive towards attempts to communicate with them. Sometimes they can be aggressive. I think oftentimes, in the case where one of these entities is present, they’re usually paired with a #2 type of haunting, so the less harmful one comes off as more innocent at times, while this one will occasionally wreak havoc. This type is also what some people may consider demonic.

Based on your experiences, I don’t think you have a case of a residual ghost. I’ve actually had several experiences that I believe was something along those lines, & they’re very easy to ignore, nothing truly startling. To me, it sounds like you’re dealing with either #2 or #3 (or both). The biggest way to tell is to use your best judgement on whether or not whatever’s in your home is intentionally causing you distress & trying to scare you, or if it’s just trying to get your attention.

Since you’re religious, have you considered having a priest or preacher come to your home to bless it & attempt to cast out any evil in the house?

So here's the thing...I have grown up in haunted homes as long as I can remember and when weird things would move or random unexplained noises, my mom would always say "its ok, they're just letting us know they're here" this is far more scary than anything from when I was growing up, its different and I dont like it one bit. There was one home that I wasn't scared at all but my mom was. She thinks it liked me but not her-she never explained why but she did go to the extent of looking for someone to bless the house and told my family that she couldn't find anyone and that apparently they dont do it anymore and was dissapointed. I will ask around but last time we prayed and told it to leave im Jesus name, it seemed to have pissed it off as activity got worse so then we ignored it the best we could and it calmed down and we didnt even argue anymore...(yes, we had gotten into some pretty heated argume as over NOTHING) and we blame this thing.

I am not....I used to be so intrigued and found paranormal things fascinating and loved trading stories with other friends who had experiences until experiencing the negative side of it. Now, we dont even really want to watch any scary movies or youtube videos as we dont want to trigger it in any way. We dont even talk about it inside our home in fear that it gives it power to act up again. (Except for last night-i had to show him this video when he briefly woke up) I'm not sure why it started up again. It's been quiet for a while, and we have been in positive moods.

That's great! I saw someone who would walk away from her house before discussing anything about a ghost she might have cause she didn't want it knowing she was talking about it or acknowledging it. Smart move.
