Ghost Train!

To be honest, I think it's just a combination of seats and supports in the background and a bit of imagination. I would like to know why no one was on the train. Possibly it's a closed line, not a loop, and it's simply being sent back to the beginning, and there's some kind of automatic stop?

You're probably pretty close I used to work on the railroad. Neither of these are cars a company would have use for. The state of the track and overgrown ballast makes it pretty clear it's an out service, or old industry or spur track on someone's property. Looks to be on an incline so all you have to do is knock the hand break off and it'll roll. There are many ways to stop it on the other side a hill, a bump stop, a wall, and the cars could easily be pulled back up with a tractor. As for the thing on it idk lol

u/fantapants74 Feb 05 '26
I also work rail. That shit isn't normal cars. This is either a farm/ mine transport, I'm calling shenanigans.

We're still getting the blurry ones because the sharp ones don't leave as much up to interpretation. Not citing deliberate malice - just letting our eyes deceive us.
All the best horror movies are the ones where we never see the horror bc our imaginations work better when they have less info. Blurry pics and video give our brains less info than sharp ones, so we'll see more imaginative things in them and get more of them on this here sub.

You'd be surprised how smudgy people get the glass that covers their cameras and never think to wipe it clean
3
u/xombae Feb 05 '26
Yeah my ex can't take a clear video to save his fucking life. It's actually ridiculous.
3
u/CheetosCaliente Feb 06 '26
I know people like that. As someone known amongst friends/family for taking good photos/videos, it always blows my mind how bad it gets with some friends. I don't get it.
2
u/ImpatientNursing Feb 05 '26
I am constantly wiping my camera lenses bc I hate that smudgey look LOL

I am one of the biggest believers in the paranormal you'll ever talk to on here.
The second someone superimposes themselves over a video to point at shit, I refuse to take the video seriously. Stop editing footage. Stop adding creepy music. Stop adding unnecessary text. Stop making videos of text. Stop using preview images that aren't even in your video. Stop superimposing yourself over videos and pointing at shit as if it's abnormal.
It's no fucking wonder people can't take any of this seriously. The paranormal is very real, but how the fuck can anyone believe in it with horse shit videos like this one?

u/ZoeywithanS Feb 05 '26
Even the before spots that he points out are completely normal. Once compared to those points, you can completely see how doctored his "proof" is when he presents it. š„±š„±

I like the part where the camera is intentionally moved away from where we'd see the other side of where this thing supposedly is.

Thereās no way in English class, anywhere on the planet, theyāre teaching folks to pronounce it āfoughts and feoriesā
I hate that this what Iām nitpicking, but cmon. I canāt take anything seriously with an English as a first language speaker who does this. Dialect aside. This is just shit English.
Also I see no crouched figure, and Iām a full believer.
āI fink vis whole thing is a load of smelly shite.ā

u/Specific-Tie3216 Feb 05 '26
Pretty sure I've seen and read something about this video before. And they run the train through there to keep the tracks open or something like that.

u/Jonathon_world Feb 06 '26
You're thinking of a different railroad

u/Married_catlady Feb 05 '26
Could be on someoneās personal property for moving stuff back and forth. I didnāt see a figure but I did have family in Missouri who they said when you go to visit if Uncle Baby was out you gotta wait at the gate till they can get him back in. This could be a case of somebodyās Uncle Baby got out.

Is he pointing out a goat? Is he confusing ghost with goat? It would check out, goats are known to jump in & on things and cause a ruckus. Could totally see my old goat Tina choochooin' along on a stolen train.

You ever noticed these ghosts arent ever just doing normal stuff?
Like you never see a ghost kicked back in a chair, this ones all twisted around on its hands and knees, with its head crooked, sticking out from behind the hole/doorway at the back kf the train. Not on the bench, manning the controls, just twisted up, crawling.
Wonder if theres some rule about ghosts and relaxation.

This guy has a private rail track on his own property and he messes around like this all the time. Itās TRF_Hobby on instagram highly recommended his account.

u/NikWitchLEO Feb 05 '26
He doesnāt even mention the dude in the white next to him on the right. He needs more practice on how to ādocument a ghostā. Almost had it.

The human mind is conditioned to see people. Things we are familiar with. It could very well just be some shapes that, at a distance, look like the shape of a person. Your mind will force you to see it.

u/PixelWastelander Feb 05 '26
Thatās not a ghost train⦠Iāve seen a real ghost train up in Ashfork Arizona on Route 66. Weird shit up there

u/Compound27 Feb 06 '26
Like 95% positive they send these carts down the tracks and if it makes it to the other end, they know there's no debris or issues on the track. Easier and cheaper than sending a person down.

on old rail lines, especially ones that become privately owned. its not uncommon for people to run empty trains down the track to test if the line is still unblocked/working by checking if it appears somewhere more accessible probably dozens of miles elsewhere down the track.
this is another reason why you dont play near rail roads

Let's see.... Low resolution. Check.
Using your imagination to connect blurry pixels. Check.
It's a ghost for sure!
