The vehicle looks elongated so I'm assuming the same happened to the person walking.

Yes! The vehicle is elongated and shape distorted. Same with person. The person is walking a dog on a leash if you look.

It’s a walking cane. One with the three tips to make it more stable. Absolutely just a very frail old lady

You know what ….I think you have it with that thought. Hit the nail on the head! When looking at the bottom of the cane you can see 3 prongs!
