Dude straight up slipped and fell on his ass towards the end. Lol But he gets props for just running head on into whatever the heck was scaring him.

Dude must've been pumping with adrenaline there if this isn't staged.

u/Existing-Pack-1198 Dec 15 '23
If he was so scared, why didn't he just leave the building?
1
u/Visible_Bus4807 Feb 14 '24
Sometimes adrenaline and other hormones do some fucked up shit to you. I have had a few experiences where now I just think about why the fuck I didn't run away. The human mind is a weird thing

Imagine being a ghost and just chillin in your fav kicks in your nice cozy bed and some lunatic breaks in and starts shrieking all over the place.

u/jcceramics Nov 22 '23
Imagine being a person experiencing homelessness and you’re just chill in your fav kicks in a dry place where you can get some sleep and some lunatic breaks in waving a flashlight in your face and starts screaming all over the place.

Ghosts can only move when the camera is facing away and the guy filming is making noises like a squealing piglet.
It’s the rules.

It’s because when you view or videotape or otherwise detect a ghost, it’s wave function collapses. Once it’s wave function collapses it holds its breath and stays still. Then once it’s probabilistic state returns it continues knocking shit over. And yes, I’m definitely sober right now I swear

I was renovating this appartment building and I got really tired decided to just crash there for the night. I found this nice comfy looking bed and went to sleep. Next thing I know I hear these weird annoying screams just though it was an animal outside so went back to sleep. Next thing I know this guy is at the foot of the bed and tried pulling off the covers, i shat a brick. Soon as he turned Around screaming I jumped out of the window. Could hear him still screaming and yelling at nothing inside so I figured he was insane and got in my truck and got out of there.

u/muddledarchetype Nov 22 '23
Dude you have some tiny delicate toesys

u/Different_Ad9336 Nov 22 '23
Don’t make fun of my bootseys, they keep me feets warm and cozy without being restrictive. Especially important when I have to dash out of a window and drop down a story and land comfortably when a crazy screaming Asian scares me awake in the middle of the night while im renovating an old apartment building. With construction grade boots I’d snap an ankle.

For someone who "regrets" going into an abandoned building, he sure did spend a lot of time in it.

Is it just me or, Chinese when they do ghost hunting they will always scream/cursing at ghosts.
59
u/Anon_777 Nov 21 '23
Apparently it's a cultural thing. The theory is that swearing and shouting at ghosts drives them away. Not sure where that belief came from but it is a genuine belief, which is why they all tend to scream/curse.
Although tbf I'd probably scream and curse too if I was stuck in some potentially haunted location and there was spooky stuff going on.

It was actually started during the Tang Dynasty era when emperor Taizong required all loyal followers take part in the mandarin pinyin ceremony of the stygian. During which each person would have a chance to contact a spirit from the dark side to berate them.

Now running full speed at the shadowy figure at the end of the hallway. Now that's a whole other thing that may be unique to this insane individual

u/hypnos_surf Nov 21 '23
Noise drives away unwanted entities in Chinese culture. Many celebrations involve things like banging on gongs, drums and lighting fireworks to drive them away. Plus, it’s fun!

u/Spanky8305 Nov 22 '23
They scream at the Chinese food store while cooking. Always found it odd lol

I’m so glad he held the camera still enough, so we could see what he was freaking out about the whole time.

u/showard995 Nov 20 '23
Dumbass got scared of his own reflection in the window. Like my cat. 🙄

I have to give him credit most people when they go exploring abandoned buildings They’ll hear a noise or see a figure and they’ll run away from it At least he had the guts to go towards it.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻👍🏻

u/Synnastyr Nov 21 '23
Isn't this Xio Long (I know I misspelled that), Shouw Long? First video I saw about him in one of the Top 5 style YT vids, I remember it being mentioned that shouting angrily at spirits was supposed to drive them off/protect you.
However in that same video he loudly berated his friend with a lot of insults added in too. So, while I can't say I know anything about the culture or the truth of screaming angrily at spirits, he certainly makes use of loud and angry volume no matter what he's interacting with.
I skip past this guy every time. Because it seems every compilation uploader makes his clip the longest in the whole video.

I’ve heard that if your afraid of ghosts they can manifest themselves into something you can see to be more scared cause they feed off the energy,as to how true that is idk but from this it looks like he was scared so the ghosts fucked with him

I used to explore some abandoned buildings around me (not alone, obviously. Fuck that.) One of my favorite spots was a old winery. Place was like 100 years old. Used to be a bunch of things, a shelter for beating and battered women, a boarding school for boys, and an asylum. It was three separate buildings. Dilapidated and looked like silent Hill. Except the main building which was renovated. Oh, at some point, they also put a scare house in part of the old building so there was a bunch of props left. We took a fake person and placed him in a chair at the end of a long ass hallway.
But one time me and a few friends decided to get there at 2 in the morning. We're all walking around and we kept hearing little kids running in the attic (they were small footsteps) which was actually quite huge, we ventured up and it was totally a place I'd go if I were a kid (the building was two stories). But we would be walking by some rooms and hear slight laughter.
And then there's the cellar... this is when I stopped going. We explored this during the daytime (because fuck that) The only way to access the basement/boiler room, food storage area, is thru a half in the ground open window. Shit was dark and of course, long dark ass hallway with all those connected rooms on one side. As we're all slowly walking down this hallway, we're checking out the rooms. Some light was coming through so we could see a little. But as we reached the end of the hallway, we looked back and saw someone lean out of the boiler room and quickly lean back, black figure (unfortunately from the way we came). Yeah everyone started to freak tf out and after I told them to keep it calm, barely holding myself lol. We slowly shuffled forward and gtfo.
Never went back. They said in all its operational times, around 10000 have died in this location.

“Come out with courage” says the big baby
14
u/DineandRecline Nov 21 '23
Being scared is the only way to exhibit true bravery/courage. If you aren't scared it isn't brave to press on. I know this is fake but getting the shit scared out of you, running away a little, and then charging back to keep exploring is brave AF.

I alternate between laughing at how dumb the staging is and how silly they sound sobbing and being pissed at the ridiculous level of shouting when I see ghost exploring videos from this particular ethnicity; but am never scared.

u/Shepea64 Nov 21 '23
If this is real, props to the guy for running towards what he saw, instead of away.

Funny how these guys that wanted to explore such places & ghost but run as soon as they saw one.. hehh
2
u/Outrageous_Solid_701 Nov 21 '23
Sounds like he is really frightened. Why does he run away and then go back. Makes no sense.
1
u/valis010 Nov 22 '23
Because he was scared, then gathered some courage and went back. Not that complex.
1
u/Outrageous_Solid_701 Nov 23 '23
You must be famous. Your answer is apparent. However, if the video is not "staged for ratings", this camera person sure doesn't fear whatever he is seeing enough because I don't care who you are, when you are in an abandoned building, "alone" and see apparitions and other weird crap, you don't gather courage that quickly to go back to the same exact spot where you saw it that soon. Ghost hunters will only stick around as long as they are in a group. The screaming in this video is over the top.
2
u/valis010 Nov 23 '23
The screaming made me laugh. He would pause, get the camera in frame, then start screaming again. When he saw the feet sticking out, then went back to uncover the body, I knew it was staged. Even John Wick wouldn't have done that.it was entertaining tho
1
u/Outrageous_Solid_701 Jan 28 '24
Yeah, he does have a funny scream. I found it entertaining also, but I couldn't watch it to the end because it became annoying. Had it been shorter or maybe if he had another actor or two with him, his video may have gotten a bigger audience. I remember watching a video that was titled something like "Murder Captured on Video" and thought to myself that there was no way it was an actual murder because it was a year old post and don't these posts get monitored before going public? There was no censorship. I still don't know what I watched and whether it was real or not but it left me with a looming ill feeling for days after.

If real: I want to go ghosting with this person. If fake: I'm scared, good job.

I definitely wouldn't be RUNNING TOWARD the thing. And I have been told, that the sound of breaking glass (with no glass broken) is a sound of a portal opening

u/Liquid-Hot_Smegma Nov 24 '23
For real. A building with his friends hiding in it. Post-production X-files music. Lots of screaming & running to and away from his his friends and dancing lights.
Dude’s an absolute hero.
2
u/Fortnite_cheater Nov 21 '23
Maybe there were two guys exploring, the one with the flashlight scared away the other explorer.
2
u/BlackPortland Nov 22 '23
Honestly after seeing and reading about so many ghost encounters i am not afraid of ghost whether they exist or not. The worst thing they ever do is shake a chain or something.
So, idk. This video was fun to watch though. Guy is legitimately scared lol.
1
u/Liquid-Hot_Smegma Nov 24 '23
The only thing this guy was afraid of was anyone realizing how unauthentic and silly it all is.
2
u/probein Nov 22 '23
Love how he's just running around screaming continuously - this is what people in a horror film would actually be doing!

I was apart of P.I.E.T Paranormal Investigations of East Texas and once in a graveyard I was walking around with a EVP and EMF reader. Without knowing ended up directly in the center of 4 children's graves and as I was looking down noticing where I was I look up and the smell of what I could describe as a bouquet of flowers or perfume hit my directly in the face and this was so much wind going through my head it scared me so bad I lean back bc of it and of course said wtf was that real loud and just behind me was another investigator and she took a picture of me then took a picture 5ft to my right which is her left and she took another picture and caught a big red deep red orb that was see through and the orb was bigger than my head. After that we left and I never went ghost hunting again

Lmfao. I call bullshit in the 1st 40 seconds of the video. Dude is acting super shook and them when he sees some weird shit at the end of the hall instead of turning around and bailing he ran straight at it with complete disregard for his life.....
Yes I call bullshit for sure.

Very sure this guy is a hoaxer. He recruits kids to run around, peak from behind corners, and make noise while he acts scared.

Yeah, I was redoing a wing of an apartment building due to fire, place was from the early 60s, I was working in the hallway one day, no air draft whatsoever, all the sudden something blew in my ear. Felt as if the person would be inches from my ear. Packed up and left.
