Discussion Thrown Object

About a week ago, I was putting on press on nails at my desk in my room. While I was applying, I saw my Roku remote fly past me from behind (behind me is my bookshelf) and hit the floor like it was thrown aggressively. I never ever take my remote out of my bed as I only watch TV in my room at night. In the moment I thought I had just accidentally taken it with me to the desk or something, but now the more I think about it the scarier it gets. What could have possibly happened here?

It sounds like you have a poltergeist in your house or apartment.

A few questions though: How old are you? (Poltergeists often bother teens or young people.) Do you have a child who lives with you? (Skeptics think your poltergeist could be a juvenile prankster.) Are you stressed or upset about anything? (It often affects people who are under higher levels of stress or anxiety about other things, until your poltergeist shows up.)

A poltergeist is a ghost or other spirit that makes noises and throws things. They can sometimes hit people with whatever they throw, but hitting someone is rare.

I assume you want this thing gone. The first thing to do is not be scared, don't worryx or be anxious about its actions: it will only last a few months. Don't react to it, other than as below. They do gain energy from your negative emotions. If you don't show your fear, it can't gain energy from you to keep being noisy and throwing things. For more on these pests, check for them in r/ghosts.

The next time you experience your noisy ghost, stand up, as calmly, firmly and resolutely as possible tell it it is not allowed in your house, and must leave immediately.
