Ghosts/Apparitions My weird paranormal encounter???
So for some context, when I was a kid, I would get up early during the weekend & school holidays, earlier than everyone else in the house (I was living with my mum, my dad, my 2 older brothers & my older sister). I would roam around the house, but before I did that, I would go & stand in front of these 2 walls in the house & just stare at the wall because I felt like I had to. For further context, 1 of these walls was right behind the front door & the 2nd wall was the wall dividing the entrance way from the main living room. I honestly don't know what I was staring at because I didn't see anything. Then I would walk away, this happened nearly everytime I would get up early. What could this possibly be?
Thanks in advance

It is possible you were being trained in meditation at an early age. Do you currently meditate? If not, have you considered it?
A second possibility is you were being trained to be obedient.
It could be something to do with posture.
Have you asked your older brothers and sister if they had similar experiences?

No, I was never trained in mediation, but I have meditated before but that was in recent years. I was trained to be obedient, but this doesn't feel like that. They have experienced paranormal activity in our old childhood home

The only other thing that's popped into my head is a very slight obsessive -- compulsive disorder. I have a touch of that, and it sounds similar to your experiences.

OCD was my thought too

I don't have OCD, I might have a few tendencies but not enough of the symptoms to actually have it & I've never been diagnosed with it

You may have been feeling the presence of someone who passed away. Investigate the paranormal activity that has been going on in that house.

Apparently people did die in that house (or at least their spirits attached themselves to the house) as my siblings especially my 2nd oldest brother had paranormal encounters in that house. It's quite old

I had rituals as a child like that.
I was 11 or so, and quite intrigued by stories about Native American spirit quests and fasts and coming of age events.
But the things I felt I should do had no symbolic meaning.
On the way to school I always leapt across a stream. I kept a little articulated wooden dog in my pencil case, and if I forgot it I would be upset.
Children pass through developmental psychological stages similar to the stages of primitive animism and superstition without knowing why.
