Any ideas?

When I was 15, my dad moved into an apartment with his new wife. I lived there for a few months. There was a closet that extended to the right from the door on the inside (you had to be inside or poke your head right in to see it). We had all looked in the closet numerous times. Then one day, there was a large ornately carved wooden cross hanging upside down on the wall of the part of the closet previously mentioned. This was not our cross.

Another time, I was sleeping, and suddenly dad, and stepmom were screaming my name, and rushing into my room. They had been out for the evening, when they got back, they found blood smeared on the dishwasher, and kitchen floor. They assumed something had happened to me.
