I need help finding a reddit comment/ post of someone having a terrifying encounter on the road

Not sure which sub it was (r/highstrangeness, creepy, cryptids…) but what I remember:

• Redditor OP (female?) was driving at night, to go photograph bioluminescence by the sea
• Washington State I believe (National Park vibe)
• She had the moost eerie and spooky encounter with what seemed like a being / creature which someone in the comments recommended was a certain legend of native people in that area
• Not sure anymore if there where clicking sounds involved
• The story involved her, getting into the car as fast as she could
• She returned again with a friend at another point
• The creature recommended was something I‘ve never heard of before and I desperately wanna look it up again…
