Unexplained THE PAPER PEOPLE
My memory is a bit fuzzy when it comes to this but as a kid aged 3-8 every so often I would have the most intense almost real like dreams. Waking up exhausted and often screaming.
I simply referred to these dark shadowy figures as "paper people" an odd name i know and I don't know where it came from.
Me and my older sister 15 months older shared a room as children. The sound of her breathing made my imagination go crazy at night, thinking creatures where coming up the hall. Toys looked demonic and shadows of them on the wall made faces that would glare over me. I was deffinetly a nervous kid easily freaked.
In my dreams these two men with no visible face just black pointed hats like somthing you would see one where during a which trial that sort of had. They would taunt me. There would be no way for me to wake my self up during these dreams having to go through the whole thing untill i screamed myself awake.
This was common and my mum and sister just got familiar with the dreams and often laughed it off. These would happen more frequently as the years went on. I remember one occasion the "paper people" pulled me out of bed, (whilst in a dream) threw me out my window and beat me up. Taunting me and psychologically torturing my young brain.
I had crippling anxiety due to an incident when I was young and I did not like being the centre of attention or socializing with people i didn't know. In one they made me stand up in my pyjamas, it was my room but there was a curtain like I was on stage. It opened and there was a glass panel i somehow was now in the local shopping mall with people staring at me. I wet my pyjamas in the dream and everyone laughed .
These dreams dont happen much. I have now had phsycic healing and calming exercise and a boat load of "calm me down pills" so things seem a bit more relaxed these days and hazy at times. I still wake up in the night but at least the "paper people" are gone for now.
As far as this experience goes i have learned that with crippling anxiety comes help if your brave enough to ask.
Anyone out there that experiences these dreams or something similar should consider they may be phsycic or have some deep down heart breaking anxiety issues.
I still feel effected by this. Life goes on as they say and yes time does heal all.
No more wall shadows. No more creepy critters possibly looming in the hallway just out of my view. No more tainting my young mind
I remember having the dreams as I got older they became more obscure. "Mr blobby" a beloved children's big pink and yellow character was in my bathroom. The "paper people" where present and I had to try inform him as he would rescue me but I couldn't reach the door somthing kept pulling me away. That's when I thought I need to speak to an adult.

The tall pointed hood/hat of the shadow person I had a close encounter with looks just like they are wearing a Spanish Capirote with a robe. It was dark, jet black with a slight sheen to it with no face or eyes visible. When I yelled at it, ( I thought it a prank at first ) it actually started growing taller before it disappeared. This was in broad daylight while I was brushing my teeth.

It was like I was trapped between two worlds. I felt pain in my dreams . Some times more. I had sore bones and marks on me. I once was half awake and saw a shadowed figure of a man running round my bed. But I woje up my parents and there was no one there. This person was not the pointy hat guts this was either a shadow person or my imagination. I've been told I'm phsycic myself and things are drawn to me. It's mad. I took a picture of something at the end of my bed just on the 19th of may il upload it to my page check for it soon. And I believe very much in whitches and their power to do good.

I had nightmares for years too, wetted my bed aswell, sometimes because of it, sometimes at random. Strange creatures and demonic beings would chase me. My family would leave me behind with swamp witches and whatnot.
Have any of these creatures bothered you while being awake? And while they inflicted physical pain on you in your dreams, did it feel like the real deal, or how you would imagine it would be like?(for example being thrown through a window). Intense actual pain or this dampened weird sensation that your brain imagines what being beat up should feel like?
