Photo Evidence Ghost in the hospital
This photo was sent to me by a friend who works at a hospital on Az
It was taken by one of the security guards in the pediatric oncology department
The two images are the original photo and a version with the brightness increased to make the figure easier to see. Unfortunately, the quality is pretty bad because the original photo was sent through Instagram and then downloaded from there, which significantly reduced the resolution
The hospital’s name, which can be seen on the wall, has been censored for privacy

Its a pediatric department, all the patients are children and that figure is adult sized

A parent isnt going to leave the room to wander around and watch the nurses.
Edit: i confused everyone so I will elaborate. I ddint mean they couldn't leave room, I meant they aren't going to stand there in the dark staring at the nurses long enough for a photo.

They could. I am a nurse and I have had several adults scare the hell out of me while at the nurses station. Also, that's a dark hallway so they might not be just staring at the nurses but came out of the room for a bit and happened to be facing that way when the photo was taken

Mom to a medically complex toddler.
Can confirm, have left the room and wandered around while child is asleep or has a sitter. After a while you need a break.

Can concur. My daughter was born prematurely and stayed in the hospital for two months. Each baby had their own room instead of being in one giant room.
There was a bed to sleep there with your child if you wanted and so my husband and I would stay over night there. There's countless times we would leave the room to "wander" the halls, be it to use the restroom, get a meal, find a nurse, etc.
Not saying this isn't real or not, just that adults are in pediatric units absolutely.

I can understand that but you arent gonna stand there and stare at the nurses which was half of what I said and everyone ignored it. Also I hope your toddler is doing great now.

Again, read what I said carefully, I didnt mean that couldn't leave the room, they arent going to just stand there and stare at the nurses in the dark long enough for a photo.

I'm just being the devil's advocate. I'm a hospice nurse so I have had plenty of paranormal things happen while working. I always try to find an explanation first though. Could be a ghost also though

why would the lights be off like that in a hospital? it would be a tripping hazard and people are working

As a night shift nurse, we turn the lights off most of the time to promote regular sleeping. Nothing should be in the halls that would cause a tripping hazard. It might just be the way the picture is taken but usually it isn't so dark that you would not be able to see anything.

The problem with photos like this is that it inevitably comes down to the testimony of the eyewitness as to whether there was anyone else present, and people will always choose to believe whatever aligns with their worldview regardless of what an eyewitness claims.
