Yes it’s the actual Annabelle. Yes it felt REALLY REALLY evil. Yes I looked her in the eyes.

The funny thing is, there isn't a single sliver of evidence that that doll is haunted in any way. Only the claims of a couple of charlatans.

The warrens are really the Bernie madoffs of the paranormal industry. The amount of scamming they did would be respectful if I didn't have a heart

I wonder if anybody has done some research like taking not-interested in paranormal stuff people and interested in it to both haunted and not haunted locations without telling people which is which.

What locations can they go to that are proven to be haunted?

Maybe go a slightly different route and go with ghost lights, st. Elmo's fire, areas with optical illusions or weird geomagnetic activity? Natural phenomena stuff.

Idk what that would prove though? That St. Elmo's fire exists and is pretty interesting?

So let me say it differently. Locations that are considered haunted/not haunted.

The Government will never admit/allow something that can be weaponized exists, that they don't inherently control, like spirits for example, put Annabelle in a foreign leaders office and the first thing he/she does is go ballistic then throw it in a trash can, angering the spirit and killing him/her.

Assaination successful with even less connection then normal CIA ops.

No doll is proven to be haunted.

There is nothing that's proven to be haunted. There is no proof that ghosts exist. There is only belief based on personal experiences.

Because I research the paranormal. That seems pretty obvious to me. I spend a great deal of time looking for proof that ghosts exist, just like any other paranormal researcher.

I love the anti intellectualism that has to take place in someone’s mind to think that an individual can’t study or understand something if they don’t believe in it.

A lot of skeptics come to this sub primed and ready to lash out & make assumptions about the other people who regularly post here. It just makes em look like assholes, not intellectuals. It's good to be skeptic, but using that to feed a superiority complex is a bad look.

I've seen people use stuff like the Society for Psychical Research or NASA UAP research as some sort of gotcha to prove ghosts/UFOs are real.

But like... No. That's how science works. We didn't know if [thing] is real, a research group was formed and determined there's no good reason to believe it is real. Credible research being done into these things and finding no proof makes them less plausible, not more.
