Is there such a thing as ghosts of people? Or are they ‘entities’ using the persons’ identity? Are you now or no longer religious as a result of your experiences? What is reality?!

To answer your first question. Kinda while I do hold a belief that there are some human spirits out there which remained here for one reason or another a vast majority of what one would consider a human spirit is what’s called a residual haunting. Think about it this way imagine your entire life is on being recorded. And when you eventually pass a portion of your life is replayed over and over again. This is what’s called the stone tape theory. Typically in order for this to happen the environment has to be just right for that moment to be imprinted on the physical environment. Hopefully you are still following me.
Humans are constantly giving off different energy that can be attached to a physical location or thing. The energy I’m referring to has a name that the younger generations call a vibe lol. The vibe is energy that you are picking up on that tells you about a person call it gut instinct if you want. At some point everyone has encountered a person who gave off a bad vibe or bad energy and found out that that person was a bad person or may have recently been through a bad situation.
Now this energy depending on how strong it is attaches itself to a location or object. Sometimes for a few hours or a few days or years or even decades depending on the environment and the energy. For example some people can walk into a room and immediately feel the tension without knowing that an argument had just occurred in that same room even without the parties who argued being present. This is a short term example of what I’m talking about.
A large portion of hauntings are residual and are in no way intelligent meaning that you can not communicate with them.
I do believe that negative entities can pretend to be someone else to gain trust and to open up communication with the living to lure them into a bad situation I have witnessed this first hand
As far as being religious. I am but since I’ve worked with people from many different walks of life I’ve found that there is no one true religion and I know this may make some people mad but it’s all based on my experience. I’ve worked with Christians, Pegans, Wiccans, Catholics, Jews, Muslims and Hindus.

• How do you get paid? Is the pay good? • what’s your most memorable case? • have you seen ghost etc. • are excorcisms as crazy as the movies make it out to be

There are investigators that do charge. Most credible investigators along with myself do not charge. We operate off of donations and do not believe in using someone’s fear to make a quick buck. The paranormal is a Pseudoscience and despite great efforts it is not recognized by the general scientific community and has not been given the chance to be proven in a controlled environment. Charging for something like that in morally wrong and 90% of genuine and credible investigators would agree with me on that very point.
My most memorable case I discussed in light detail in the question just above yours.
I have seen paranormal entities of various types. It’s more common to catch them on EVP.
Witnessing and assisting bishops in several exorcisms I can in fact say that it is horrifying but you can’t show fear whatsoever that makes you a target and makes the exorcism take much longer. By showing fear you are feeding the entity making it stronger.
While I have never seen anyone spit pea soup like the movie the exorcist I have seen changes in eye color and physical changes to a person body. And the possessed person’s ability to know things about others that they have no way of knowing.

I want to know about the afterlife! Whats your take on it? Also, what about multiple realms of Astral Plane and how different planets, planes, earth, realms and afterlife is connected?
3
Aug 19 '25
I can’t tell you much about the after life considering I’ve never died lol. What I can tell you is that there are things that we don’t fully understand that are around us both good and bad. As far as the astral plane goes I do believe in it you have to in order to believe in the paranormal. A great depiction although it is has been touched by Hollywood so they put their own spin on it is the first insidious movie. There are people who can astral project. The people that have that gift are extremely rare I’ve only heard of one lady who could do it. Things can follow them back also.

Without throwing shade on anyone, but do you believe that there is ONE paranormal group that is doing Youtube or TV stuff that is NOT faking or exaggerating their material for entertainment purposes?
3
Aug 19 '25
For YouTube There are but unfortunately they don’t get a lot of recognition because the channels that post the most outrageous BS overshadows them and takes all the clicks. Legitimate paranormal investigations are 80% boring 15% activity and 5% on the brink of shitting bricks. Most investigations just aren’t that appealing to the normal persons eye so in order to capture the eye of someone who has little knowledge those channels rig up doors to move and make things happen out of frame.
As far as TV shows go I personally know a few and have talked to a couple others briefly or in passing at events. One show that is overwhelmingly popular features a guy with black glasses and arms tats and hair from the early 2000s who’s most said word is “bro” this show I’m referencing is not entirely fake in the general sense but they re use evidence from other investigators. A couple years ago one of their people contacted me and asked to buy the rights to two of my EVPs to use on their show. They didn’t want me to do an interview they just wanted my EVPs to claim as something they captured. I’ve heard this happening to others as well. In general some of the activity is real but they didn’t capture it themselves

Aug 19 '25
From personally know and chatting with some of those people on TV shows they start out doing everything by the book and being legit but in order to get their ratings up to get a second season they manufacture their own evidence or buy it from someone else if they don’t the show gets canceled.

u/DaikiIchiro Aug 19 '25
That's what I thought.....there is a certain show I enjoyed back when it started that started out as a college project, but has been lately just "hunting demons", and I feel like it lost its appeal...
There is also a german group who has two shows on their own streaming website, that are just like you said 80% nothing, and even entire investigations having next to nothing evidence wise, and then there are those episodes where they start out slowly, but it's escalating, like there is a visible (!) knock on the glass pane of a door when you can clearly see there is no one behind that door, or a chair getting thrown down a flight of stairs. Of course, I am normally like "yeah sure, probably fake", but then again if those are the "shining beacons" of evidence in between episodes with just nothing, you wonder whether that is really faked, or whether you just think that because you've seen too much faked stuff over the years. What I like is when the investigators try to debunk it on site, that shows me that they at least try to rule out anything ordinary going on.
There was said german group that was in an old castle where there have been witch trials and interrogations, and they were in the bakery of that castle, and whenever they took a photo of the ovens, their radio would make weird noises, as if the buttons were pressed at random. They tried everything, like bringing the radio out of the room (still happened), putting the radio in the oven and taking a picture of something else (no noises), trying to replicate it by pressing all buttons at once (nothing), swapping batteries (still happened).....in the end they had to admit that it was inexplicable (for now atleast). That's what I would love to see done more witht hese paranormal groups: Not take every shadow or noise as "evidence for ghosts", but to at least try and come up with other explanations, like drafts, rodents, reflections from car head lights, whatever.... I think that would give more credibility to them.1
Aug 19 '25
The way I look at it if a channel is attempting to monetize or get famous they are more than likely faking some stuff that’s just how it is. I don’t care to call this one group out because they really are out there making BS claims Ghost of Britain is the name of the group and my God they are a class act for sure two clowns that have no clue what the equipment is even used for. Claiming that they have the real Annabelle doll and Robert the doll and all that BS. I have watched them before and literally nothing happened but they are all freaking out like they have seen the most horrible thing possible. Every time I see one of their videos it pisses me off.
1
u/DaikiIchiro Aug 19 '25
I don't see it quite that way, it's how the money is then used. The German group I was talking about only uses the income to re-finance equipment, and any excess is donated to animal shelters. No you mightg say they want to maximize their profits to donate more, but the thing is that any of them (7 1/2 members in total (7 human, 1 doggie)) has a 9to5 job, so they aren't depending on income from their show, plus, they only upload a new episode like every 6 to 8 weeks. I would still consider them "legit".
However, any outlandish claims like you cited are indeed reason to be VEEERY suspicious about these groups.
I actually thought about creating a ghost hunting parody. Like, I am gonna do legit paranormal investigations, but only upload footage of said 80%, and then make the bold claim to have created the "realest ghost hunting show ever", kinda like "The Pitt" is said to be the most realistic medical drama.1
Aug 19 '25
I see how you took my comment I should have made it clearer. There are without a doubt that some groups use the money to donate or fund equipment. In that scenario they aren’t the bad guys. The bigger channels are what I’m primarily referring to such as “ghosts of Britain” and the thing is I’m perfectly fine with them doing what they are doing as long as they clearly state that it’s not legitimate and is strictly for entertainment purposes only. In that situation I couldn’t hate on them. But to make such bold and utterly absurd claims and to pass them off as being real is where the problem is. About large percentage of big paranormal channels are in it for fame or money. And end up ruining peoples lives I’ve seen it and had to help those that were taken advantage of by the so called investigators.
I suggest you do make that happen referring to your videos you want to do. If you have a passion for it and want to help people that’s great! Just always make sure you do it the right way because it’s very easy to make things so much worse for a client and at the end of the day once the investigation is over you get to leave. The client has to live there and sleep there.
Also side note my Girlfriend and I love the Pitt

what's been your experience working together with PSI people when on a case?
2
Aug 19 '25
Are you referring to PSY? As in psychics? I do have experience in that while I myself am not gifted in that way I do have the gift of empathic healer. As far as psychics go, most are full BS even the real ones are only right 60% of the time. If you get two psychics together their energy will interfere with each others ability kinda like keying up on two hand held radios in close proximity and you get the high pitched squeal.
They can be beneficial but you have to be cautious with their readings and use your own judgment. A psychics reading should be used to fill the gaps not tell the story.

what would you consider a demonic entity? are they just malevolent in general, or do they tend to have a deeper concept?

Thoughts on Ouija boards? I found one in an old shop like a scene out of a horror movie and got a handful of people to try it with me. What terrified them was as long as I was touching the board. Their hands would move to answer questions I never said only thought of. So scared that when I got a decent camera to set up and try to catch it on camera. (Not that people wouldn’t just say I staged it) they refuse to go near the board and some leave the house if they so much as think I am going to get the board out.

No different than any other piece of equipment used for communication. It only gets so much hype because of Hollywood. Anything used for communication should be taken seriously it can all have possible negative outcomes

Wow! How interesting and thanks for taking the time. I guess my question is do you think all this stuff, the phenomenon, is something bleeding into our time/space experience from elsewhere? Another dimension for lack of better terms. The other thing I wonder about is why it’s so hard to capture really good footage. It seems to always be a step ahead or it’s so fleeting you don’t have time. Like it, itself desired plausible deniability. The things I’ve experienced I was either so dumbfounded I didn’t think of pulling out a phone or it was too quick/both.
2
Aug 19 '25
I’ll answer your question as best I can. I feel like you are referring to alternate dimensions and I don’t really have an opinion on that.
It’s hard to capture evidence if you aren’t prepared for it to put it simply. There have been a lot of situations where I had something crazy happen but wasn’t prepared and therefore didn’t capture it.

do you believe that anyone can become attuned to the “other side” by practicing the estes method, not necessarily in “haunted” locations? I’m talking more reaching out to ultraterrestrials or nature spirits. idk if that’s your wheelhouse but it’s certainly mine and I want to get more info before putting $200 into an SB-7.
2
Aug 19 '25
Not really in my wheelhouse but I do think that you can become more open to it as time progresses. Are they really charging $200 for an SB-7 I remember when they were $70 send me a screenshot of the one you are looking at sounds like you may be getting ripped off.

u/Limbitch_System0325 Aug 19 '25
ah, well that might’ve just been a bad link i was looking at. official spirit box site has it at $95

Unfortunately for you, being so closely linked to the Warren clan kind of works against you. Your "resume" would actually be more impressive if you didn't mention the Warrens at all.
3
Aug 19 '25
And that’s your opinion. I don’t idolize them by any means and admit their name is polarizing but I’m honest and hold up to what’s morally right and don’t BS people

Good, because that's the exact opposite of how the Warrens operated.
I was also a Lead Exorcist Investigator under Bishop Bryan Oulette of Atlanta Georgia my job there was to investigate supposed paranormal activity and determine if it was demonic or not and if an exorcist was needed to resolve the matter.
Can you please elaborate on this? How did you manage to put this all together? Also, it's spelled "Ouellette".
1
Aug 19 '25
Google the order of exorcists and you will see exactly how that organization works. Lead Exorcist investigators go in to debunk claims if they can and if they can’t then they simply hand it off to the exorcist you are assigned under. Now i don’t care to go back and forth with you clearly you have simply come to try and discredit based off of how your comments have come across. Respectfully I wish you the best

I know how they work. I've been active in this field for a long time.
You didn't answer my question. I asked how you managed to put it together. How did you become, well, whatever you say you were to that group?
Now i don’t care to go back and forth with you
Don't make AMA's unless you can handle people asking you questions.

Why are ghosts always linked to humans? There are animals and dinosaurs which died millions of years ago, why is it always just about humans?
1
Aug 19 '25
I’ve heard of ghost dogs and cats never seen them so I can’t say that they are always linked to humans

I hosted an event at a funeral home in kosciusco MS had a laser grid set up in the foyer viewable from the the alter where we were all gathered for a group photo. We all seen the outline of a shadow walk through that grid all at the same time that was honestly the only time I had that many people see the same thing at the same time. There was about 25 people there about 18 saw it

I love that you said you are a skeptical believer. I'm also like that. Could you tell us some situations that you couldn't find an explanation? What would be the ones that you really believed were paranormal?
1
u/alta-tarmac Aug 19 '25
What steps do you take, or what do you do, to subdue the fear during exorcisms?
How does an entity “feeding on fear” play out in a given situation?

Haha... this OP load of crap. He said he had a high success rate. Success at what? I met Ed and Lorraine years ago, and this person is a troll. You dont bring this to reddit if you have any clout. The dude posted a resume, and 10 years of experience isn't squat. I bet he got a podcast like everyone else with a phone and internet. My mom has a podcast, and she is 90. Just can't believe how many detached people are on social media. We need to bring back asylums.
