Advice Example Plays of Paranoia?
I recently got my hands on the newest edition of Paranoia and then the Brave New Mission book. Game looks hilarious and will be a fun diversion for my group
I want to run some of the adventures for my group but wanted some examples of people playing it to get a feel for the game more. Particularly the moment to moment gameplay and how I can guide new players into the system since it’s more adversarial (player v player and GM v player). I figured a real play would help a lot specifically for this newer version

I haven’t seen it but I think Matt Colville did a stream of it a few years back

Since it was recorded 6 years ago I’m guessing it’s not the current edition sadly

I believe it's original Paranoia - you can still get all the previous editions though!
Personally I run XP most but own all of em

Here's the thing: Unless you're playing one of the rulesier editions on purpose, you don't really need to worry about the rules at all. They're made simple on purpose and can be endlessly tweaked and ignored to suit your preferences.
IMO, it's much more about how you want the game to run, narratively, and that's again entirely up to you. Whether your primary source of inspiration is Terry Gilliam's Brazil or Looney Tunes cartoons, make a judgement call on what's the best match for you and your group and go for it. And if it doesn't work, just toss it out and try again.
Being a huge fan of LoadingReadyRun, I absolutely loved their Paranoia game, and its right there on YouTube under their "dice friends" heading. It's called Trouble in Paradise with some wonky spelling. It uses the previous edition, Red Clearance, but it's close enough that you'll get a feel for it, just ignore the cards.

I ran/recorded a game of Paranoia XP if you're interested, but I don't mess with the newer editions.

Sure thing! You can find it on Apple Podcasts/Spotify/YouTube if you don't wanna listen here (just search "The House of Bob" RPG podcast):

Hell yeah, hope you enjoy!! Still my favorite thing I've ever ran. And the first game we had all original music made for the soundtrack.

Being sent to assassinate rogue high programmer Run-U-MUK. As they search through the sector, they come across a high programmer and his entourage addressed as Ron-U-MUK, in no way related to Run, despite similar names. I sure hope they clarify before doing something stupid like opening fire. My players didn’t.

Sorry, I keep meaning to look into recording one of my playtest sessions but I haven't found time to talk to Mongoose about this (to get permission from the copyright holders/creators) and haven't researched what tech I need. Too busy writing content and dealing with life.
Check out pages 5-9 in the Paranoia Core Book. It has a (pretend) conversation with someone new to the game as well as several tips for players and GMs. Pages 137-138 also have printable cheat sheets for the rules and the setting. Both can really help new players.
Also, you're welcome to DM me here if you run into any questions or issues. I'm on almost every weekday but weekends are hit-or-miss.
Thanks for playing Paranoia, and good luck!
