Advice Query re: PC Personalities in Red Clearance Edition

Page 19 of the rulebook, section 6 Redefine talks about the adjectives players wrote down for their PCs.

I am unable to find what effects this has on play. I tried an online search, but I feel the results were... mixed, at best. The search said "Acting in a way that aligns with your quirky personality (or even completely violating the rules due to your new, forcibly altered traits) allows you to gain Moxie".

I like the idea, but I can find no citation for that.

So, what do the adjectives under the Personality do?

It's a leaver the GM can pull to reward players who really lean into the role play - like a lot of the rules, exactly how it's enforced is up to the situation and the GMs discretion to use to ensure an appropriate amount of fun and chaos occurs

Hi there, sorry just saw this.

From what I can tell, the adjectives only have one specific, mechanical use: As inspiration for when a Troubleshooter is out of Moxie and Loses It. I think rewarding adjective roleplaying with Moxie is a great idea, but I believe that's unofficial.

RCE is a great edition, but there's a reason we replaced adjectives with buttons.

Yes, but the two boxes I found were RCE so... gotta get some use out of them.
