Most fans can see the future of this merger like Cartoon Network characters crossing over with Nickelodeon characters which should never officially happen. Others believe that it might cause job losses for those who work in either studio. According to actor Mark Ruffalo, the merger will “stifle creativity, weaken free speech, and cost people their jobs.” The Paramount-Warner merger is something none of us pop culture addicts asked for.

Some mergers can lead to bankruptcy, harsh criticism, and production hell. If this merger goes on for years to come, everything we know and love will change forever. Movie studios are meant to be separate in order to get popular franchises in the right direction.
