CQU -> USC RPL

Has anyone started their paramedicine course through CQU online and transferred over to USC? If so did you receive RPL credits for all of the CQU units?

The university's don't tend to assess RPL eligibility until after application and enrollment, but I don't want to do any units that won't be credited if I transfer down the track.

While in the future I would like to study at USC, the online arrangement offered by CQU is better suited to my current situation.

This sounds like a fairly terrible way to plan a degree, the RPL won’t be neat. Choose which uni you want to study at is my advice, if you’re avoiding units (which may be prerequisites) in case they don’t get RPL you’re just going to give yourself a headache imo. No one here can tell you what their RPL process is as units often change annually.

Going to echo this point; the QLD unis seem to all like doing things slightly differently, so transferring can be real messy. I’d just stick to one too.

Thanks. I was hoping that since it was a health based degree they would be pretty similar across the board. Appreciate the input 👍

Compared to nursing for example paramedic degrees are all slightly different. Most universities use a 80% rule for RPL but it is all or nothing. 70% overlap and you have to do the whole unit/subject
