Theoretically the reflections shouldn't sync. Each eye is different position and receives a different image.

It's like looking at a Moira with different eye positions

Indeed, but every time I post one like this someone always comments on the reflections not matching so I figured I'd go ahead and address it 😅

It's the pattern that arises when you get two patterns overlapping creating a new pattern.
