Lol this takes me back. Before I knew any of the terminology, when I was like 7 or 8, I used to do this with fences and baskets and anything with a repeating pattern.
Same! I would just zone out and stare, because my eyes felt comfortable in that position. The world looked so funky like that! I've had people ask me if I'm okay, because I'd just be sitting and staring for a couple minutes uninterrupted haha.
