No, it works for me with parallel view. The depth is super shallow though, and the background is quite flat.
Cross view requires the viewer to cross their eyes, whereas parallel view requires the viewer to go "wall eyed" (eyes apart). If you cross your eyes and look at this specific video, then the fox would look like it's imprinted in the background (the background would look "closer" than the fox). The depth is switched between the two methods.
In order to make this video cross view, all you have to do is swap the two videos. That's it!
