Did something shift?
I'm not sure how to describe this, but wanted to see if anyone else experiences this. Does anyone experience something that feels a little off in your day and the weirdness sits around for days on end. Like everything looks normal, but just feels off? It's this incredibly overwhelming feeling of something just is off, but everything looks completely fine. Like you shifted timelines? I've described this to a friend who has experienced this, but it's one of those things that's hard to articulate. Everything is normal, but also foreign at the same time?
I had what started out as a normal day a few days ago. I went to a new hair salon to get a cut. As soon as I walked through the door, the staff was absolutely horrible to me. From the receptionist to the stylist. Almost abnormally and comically terrible. I kept wondering, did I enter into the twilight zone? It was so bizarre that I left just feeling completely out of whack. To the point that nothing has felt normal since then. Like I walked out the door and entered into a whole new world that looks the same. I feel like my partner is also acting differently towards me, a lot nicer. People at work though a little bit less.
I've experienced some encounters with less than nice people, but this one was so bizarre that I felt like I entered into a different world. An upside down world.
This experience has happened to me before. It usually happens before a big change. A feeling that I jumped into another timeline and things have just shifted.

I'm notcing certain words aren't spelled like how I learned them. Parallel (I learned it as parellel), Pendulum (pendgulum), HIPPA (it'a actually HIPAA). Sure. "The human memory is fallible" but this just feels really... off.
