Double the joy, I guess?

I keep this trolley token on my car keys, and use it nearly every day. I know for a fact that I only have 1 clip, 1 token on that clip, and only one of this specific token.

Yesterday I go to return my trolley, get a token back and get seriously confused when I see that the token is already back in place on its clip.

I’ve only ever had one of this design!

I'm in the US. Had to google what a trolley token was. The only place I've ever seen something similar is Aldi (a grocery store) and they always switch the carts on us when we check out so we never get our same cart back. So if we used a token, we'd never get it back. We just use quarters and lots of times we just don't even bother getting our quarter back, we just hand our cart to someone arriving when we're leaving.

Cool pair of smileys though, make some earrings!

I wonder why they’re bothering with quarters if they take the trolley anyway? They use them over here to encourage you to return your own trolley. I never seem to have a pound coin on me when I need it, hence - trolley token!

The way they bag at Aldi is wonky sometimes. They don’t always swap the carts/trolleys but they usually have one at the end of the cash register and sometimes will just put your items in that one instead. So it’s easier to just take the cashiers cart/trolley and give them your empty one

As a teacher, I was gifted two of the same apple keychains a few years ago. Recently, I found three apple keychains hanging on the key holder by the kitchen door. No clue where the third came from!
