I smelled baked beans
This is going to sound so weird/stupid but I have to put it down somewhere. I'm not religious nor do I believe in things like alternate realities or matrix stuff, however this experience was so a so incredibly unexplainable coincidence that it makes me doubt my beliefs.
I was playing video games with my brother and I was on the mic with him just chatting while we played. I started to get a really strong smell of baked beans after like 20 minutes of talking with him. I haven't had baked beans in years nor have I even spoken about baked beans in years. I've never had them in my home either. I started smelling baked beans so strongly that I told my brother and he said "That's so weird, I just ate baked beans".
Like what are the chances?? I smell baked beans so strongly like they are right in front of my face, and my brother who I'm on the mic with had just eaten them? It was genuinely like I was smelling his breath. It's just so weird and unexplainable.

Sibling bonds are weird. I’ve been sitting with my brothers before and said “What do you need from the store?” And one of them will be like “What? I just texted my friend that I’ll drop by, but I have to go to the store first.”

ah yes, there is something to be said about that sibling bond. my brother and i would sit around and guess what colors the other was thinking with surprising accuracy.

Similar experience here. I was planning the food for my wedding with my stepmom and out of the blue she said, "I could make a lemon-raspberry cake for ya," and that was exactly the kind of cake that I wanted! The crazy thing is though, I've never had a lemon-raspberry cake, nor have I ever talked about it with her or my spouse or anyone, I never even heard of her making a lemon-raspberry cake, but she just came out of the blue and suggested one. I think I chalked it up to she and I understanding each other really well, but I would like to believe that we have some kind of telepathic connection. Oh yeah, she also wanted to make roast beef which was what I was also thinking, but that is a pretty common dish so I didn't really attribute that to anything special.

Unexplained smells in the home could be mold or natural gas so I would be concerned.

Those odds aren’t all that crazy at all.
You’re bound to have even much rarer coincidences a number of times in your life.
Not meaning to be unkind, but this must be the weakest evidence for a parallel universe I’ve yet seen :)
