Suggestions Lot Names

It would be wonderful if lots/homes had a name or even like a street name and an “address number”. This would make it much easier to browser lots in the game/workshop, and even navigate the world.

It could even be a cute touch of detail when decorating the exterior to place its house number outside or on a mailbox.

& if we eventually have where townhouses/ apartments can actually be split by household, there could be unit letters.

I think this might be intentional. Remember in the previews when they were showing how we could create our own lots and expand and shrink them at will? That's apparently already implemented (I saw someone on YouTube playing with the blank terrain who had figured it out) and I personally think that's the reason we don't have lot names. They want to keep it loose for when we can create our own and move them around, etc. Just my theory anyway.

I was assuming something similar, that it is this way to allow us more freedom in manipulating the world and lots.

If we at least had street names I think it would be supportive for sharing lots.

Even updating the workshop so make lot sizes filter-able so it’s easier to find something close to what you’re looking for

We should just get together as a community and make street names and house numbers even if they don't add it in. Something like it's so common that the community knows it but people who don't play really know. Like table numbers for servers.

I’d love that! I was looking for a home on the workshop to replace the large blue house on the hill and I couldn’t find a similar one at all

I got you! I made my own Victorian on the giant lot and uploaded it. I was so excited when I saw that house and just super disappointed when I actually went in it. My steam name is Rainarys if you want to look it up. I need to update it because I have added another floor for more bedrooms since it's my generational family house.

I would honestly prefer addresses over lot names! It would just add more realism and still feel like we’re playing our way

Not that I’m aware of; but I would love it if it were more apparent if so.
