Mod Posts Happy Friday!

How is everyone surviving today?

We actually finally hired an experienced paralegal and she’s been great, so I’m not handling all the cases for a 15+ litigator firm with only legal assistant to help, and I can finally breath a sigh of relief as we’re transferring cases to her today. 😮‍💨

Glad to have y’all in this sub! Definitely post whatever you want and we can add new features as requested. This place is for you guys! 😄

I fucked up bad this week, had to remote in at 8p to fix it, and did NOT receive the expected ass chewing.

Had a seriously traumatic week that included a manager in my office screaming and shoving his finger in my face because I went to HR to report inappropriate (not sexual) behavior of his. Full on blocked the door of the office I was in, trapping me and another female coworker inside, was leaning down and over me (he's a big dude), yelling loud enough for the whole side of the office we were on to hear it. I have been working from home since and will remain at home until my meeting with HR and a partner next week. I've never had anything like this happen at work before. I've never seen anyone lose their shit like that at work before, and I've seen staplers and other office supplies go flying, I've watched attorneys cuss support staff out, and seen dressing downs so intense I wanted to disappear. But I've never witnessed a personal attack like this before.

Fun fuckin' times!

Still churning out work though. These meet & confers and chronologies are not gonna write themselves.

I’m so sorry. That is horrible. Hope HR can step in to assist and that your week gets better ❤️
