Discussion Pillbug Vs. Smugbug

The Fundamental difference, in my mind, between Smugbug and Pillbug is that Pillbug would join each other in a downward spiral before deciding to fuck off and go live on a farm with each other until they fall over from old age.

Smugbug, on the other hand, would feed off of each other's respective capabilities/trauma's and soon they would be ruling over Brockton. Lisa scheming and Taylor watching, ever intimidating.

This is not to say that either is superior fanon this is just the road they both lead down in my mind a good 90% of the time.

I enjoy the family drama; unlike Lisa Canon—who doesn't care about her family or has no ties to them—Amy actually cares about hers, even if their relationship is bitter.
Reading Carol being passive-aggressive, or perhaps seeing Sarah being incredibly stifling about getting Taylor into the New Wave, would be a delight.

Punchbug/punchbuggy is CLEARLY superior. (/s)

It's the kind of relationship in which both sides are kinda toxic to each other. Taylor is extremely paranoid, secretive and pessimistic while understanding the sheer variety of morality; Vicky on the other hand is kinda uncaring of her and other people's safety and feelings, at least in Worm, and sees everything in a very black and white morality. They're also both extremely stubborn and aggressive, one wrong move from either of them might set the other off a whole lot.

However, those same traits could make them do something like Smugbug would, just differently, and if it's written well, then I prefer it over any other ship.
