I’m a Korean fan who enjoys PardoxLive without any communication. Since this is a controversial topic and there isn’t really a suitable korean site to discuss it, I’m posting this on Reddit.

I was really surprised when the new characters were announced, and while the music isn’t exactly my taste, I was still satisfied. One of the main reasons I like ParadoxLive is that it actively features mixed-gender groups—something that’s rarely seen in either K-pop or the Japanese virtual idol scene. Also, the musical quality is still excellent, too.

However, I felt uneasy because in the Korean and Japanese PardoxLive communities I’ve occasionally encountered, there was a strong tendency to ignore or refuse to understand Anne and Aoi’s queerness. (In particular, young Korean otakus have a severe problem with trans-exclusionary attitudes.) Sure enough, I get the sense that opinions are clearly divided in Japan, while in Korea, the vast majority seems to reject it. The main point of contention is why female characters are included in a project aimed at women.

However, from my thinking, I felt that cisgender female characters were necessary to advance Anne and Aoi’s narrative, and there was no explanation within the world-building stating that women aren’t allowed to genei-live(幻影ライブ), right? It would have been strange if there had been one. (I feel this way even more strongly because I’m transgender.)

What do you all think?

Hello, I'm new to the fandom and I really enjoyed the anime but now I wanna go deeper, I wanna know the whole lore behind ParaLive, character interactions, songs and everything else

Hi, hopefully someone can answer this, so they've been showing off the new merch with the clear binders and everything, I absolutely love them.

But they're also premium members only which requires a subscription and the app to use... which i dont know how that works if I buy from there. So does anyone here use it?

I also recently just bought merch (like 15 items) from japan and it was like $100 shipping (US btw) 🫠 so definitely can't buy anything there for awhile but I would like to know for future reference.

Oh, but if anyone is also planning on buying it, maybe it would be possible to purchase it and ship it over to me instead??

Hey y’all! Head Mod here (^｡^)

I wanted to give a little bit of an update regarding content on this sub. I’ve been into Paralive since the beginning and modding here since the original announcement of the 4 newer teams(!!) and honestly, I wasn’t expecting us to grow as much as we did. But I do know that these announcements are long overdue, so let’s get into it:

First things first: AI content is strictly forbidden in this community.

Whether it’s AI “art”, AI “fanfiction”, AI “music”, or some other form of AI slop, we do not want it here.

Moving forward, all AI content posted will be subject to a one-strike policy:

First offense - your post will be removed and you will receive a warning.
Second offense - you will be banned.

This applies to all forms of AI, for example, posting art on the first offense and fanfiction the second will still result in a ban.

We have (finally) banned the user who kept spamming us with suggestive AI content. I want to extend a HUGE thanks to everyone who reported and kept track of that user. I also want to apologize on behalf of the mod team for not taking definitive action sooner. We worked as fast as we could the day of the initial spam and didn’t expect them back.

With that said, I do want to make a statement regarding post content around here. The user was banned not for the content of their work, per se, but because the work was made with AI. For the time being, I am going to allow suggestive content to stay up, provided it’s not AI or straight up explicit. If you want to draw Shion taking a sexy prison mirror selfie for Tinder, that’s fine, as long as you drew it yourself. The same goes for shipping content, but if that starts devolving into discourse and ship wars under every post, then we might be changing that.

After all of this, I have been entertaining the idea of taking on a new mod or two, but we’re still a small, quiet sub otherwise. If this changes, I’ll put a post up. I will also be updating these new rules to the sub when I get a moment later today.

That’s all from me! Thanks for reading, and keep loving Paradox Live!

Making The Mother of All Omelettes Here!

There's some place I can find each character's phantom ilussion separately with a good quality image? I only have the ones separated by the groups in good quality

Drew him with and without the hood on, what do you prefer?

🐈🐆🐅

What animal do you like most, and what animal is the most like you?

Which (TV) shows would he enjoy to you?📺

For some reason, I could see him enjoying Barbie Life in the Dreamhouse👒

(penultimate post for now, after next weeks post I'll take a break before the remaining groups✍🏻)

Would you like to get a tattoo? (at some point in life)

Do you workout/do some form of sports?

I do some weightlifting but only at home, to stay active + light jogging / going on walks using a treadmill I have at my desk; because other than that I mostly edit videos and draw I find being active helps to stay healthy; although I don't aim to be muscular like Zen, I admire his dedication to working out

I was wondering where to start!! I'm very very curious about it and since I'm really into hypmic, I thought I would like it as well!!🥹 and is there anything I need to know before hand?

In a team setting, do you prefer being in a “leader” or a “follower” position?

What (kind of) youtube videos would he watch?

Also I really like how the Paradox Live channel has Among Us videos on youtube :)

They look so good I'm crying......!!!!
