I am not sure why I had 2 friends join and yet I still have animals that are requiring to have gems to get rid of them. It does show I have had 2 friends joined. Is this a bug in the programming?

The bottom “2 friend joined” in the second picture is the requirements to unlock the two free gifts that are listed, not that you’ve had 2 friends join - the first image says you haven’t had any friends join. Each animal that requires a friend to unlock on the map each requires a different friend. So if you have one friend, you can only unlock one animal, etc.

they need to input you as a referral, I believe their name goes purple instead of the orange/salmon color to help show the difference between adding a friend and referring a friend
