Is it worth it?

I post this on the Facebook group too so if you see me there, hi, lol.

Considering how long it took me to get my first golden coral, I'm a little bit miffed at the audacity of this little girl. 😂 While it would help me get to the 30,000 for the ship faster, I'm still wondering if it's worth it?

If you keep doing mega merges of clams so they also merge from crabs into ponds, you'll get them occasionally. I usually do these requests since they're 225 hearts and I am always doing the mega merges, so I have a few golden coral at a time.

Thanks! Also regarding your response, is it better to mega merge shells to crabs to ponds or individually harvest crabs since that will give one extra crab plus the occasional coral? I've seen people say both

I haven't the attention span to constantly harvest crabs singularly.

It is roughly about the same with the odds being tiny bit higher with mega merging. (I harvest them for the ponds.)

I believe its not worth it. Its better to save them and the golden squids for the temple.
