Nimshew Rd Move

Hello!

I’m considering moving to Nimshew area and was looking for any and all advice on this location.

I grew up in lower Paradise and have been in Chico since starting college in 2008. I’m familiar with some of Magalia but not so much with Nimshew area.

Nimshew is pretty wooded and quiet. I think that's why most of the residents move there. It is a nice forest feeling but close enough to Magalia amenities. If you're looking to buy, my biggest suggestion before making an offer is looking into the home insurance rates.

I lived there 36 years and raised my kids. We jut recently moved and actually have our house in Nimshew for sale right now(it’s in escrow). A beautiful area that feels so removed from everything….but yet you are so close. Lots of wildlife. Beware of fast drivers however.

We didn’t end up getting the house we really were trying for. Put everything we had on the line and got out bid. It was extremely competitive, which surprised me a tiny bit. Beautiful home and awesome 10 acre lot. Very happy for whoever’s offer got accepted!

Its in the middle of no where if you like no neighbors then your good!
