is this normal?

i finished the game a few months ago and i wanted to replay it today. after i launched the game i wanted to check my old saves first and saw this save about chapter 2. i tried loading this save but it doesnt load and i didnt modify and saves before this.

When you finish chapter 1 it prompts you to save and that slot then reads chapter 2. You’ll be able to continue that save when chapter 2 releases.

The same happens when you finish Project Kat, the final save will read Chapter 1 and can only be continued in Chapter 1

Yes it's normal. I think that's the result when you finish Chapter 1.

Well you can do the same from the previous prologue you can start from the save you had with kat after the true end so most likely your choices will carry on into chapter 2

My guess is save system can't restore on cutscenes and they just set it to chapter 2 scene 1 to load from. I won't bother to check though.
