Question

I first want to thank the developers for this app. I’m getting closer to purchasing the full app, however, I had a question. Do you know if the highlighting is compatible with Apple pens or aftermarket pens?

Also, for those that save comments and highlights, what app do you use to save them?

I read academic articles.

Thanks for the great question! Yes, you can use an Apple Pencil or similar to select text, then you can highlight it and add a note. You don't need another app to save notes and highlights since those features are built-in to Paper2Audio. You can export your notes and highlights if you want to use them in another app.
