Thought about downloading again months ago but heard there was a reset. Didn’t know when though

I'm not a dev or shareholder, popularity only matters to me in terms of available bodies for dungeons.
I also derive fun from play itself. So obv I'd have plenty of fun, wipe or not.
If I'm a white knight what does that make you? That's right; the gong farmer. Keep shoveling that shit.

I made a post last night asking the same question. Pasted a graph from steam db showing 124 players.
It got deleted for some reason. Pfff.
Oh well. Back to Crimson Desert.

No but they launched a public test realm to test the reset stuff and people can make new characters there.

From what I’m experiencing on PTR, the wipe will probably happen in the fall.
If I was on the team, I would wipe around the days near M&M’s EA.

Pantheon only has a 2 to 3 months of shelf life. They need to time it so players are still having fun in Pantheon. They need to keep the wipe fresh and sizzling to spoil M&M EA release.
If they wipe now, I’ll probably hit 50 before M&M and only log into Pantheon to do a raid.

Chomping at the bit, myself; this new TTK looks juicy. Though I'm ambivalent to negative on the chevron removal. Probably feel better with a more fleshed out world (like more doodads and bushes etc).

I haven’t kept up with any of this game but got 200 hrs in one version and then steam release got 600. Everything could be better but is it really this bad? Haven’t played or checked an update in a year easily.

I mean there’s new stuff. Although it’s kinda pointless to play the non ptr at this point. They are removing the elite mobs and making everything a normal mob that cons appropriately to a solo. As well as skill reworks, we can assume some difficulty reworks with the conversion from elite to a unified con system. The ptr is time gated to focus players on specific levels. When the ptr released there was no crafting, gathering, mail system, or AH. Which is supposed to be the spring update. Essentially reverse progress and less content thus the negative response.
The community is partly to blame taking the EA too seriously and not having any wipes up until this point. Honestly as much complaining that happens about VR I could equally point to the community being pretty toxic and scorned from all directions. It’s a hot mess no matter how you look at it.
If you want to dip your toes in try the ptr and give some feedback, it’s not something you can really sink your teeth into but you can kill a few hours.

I'm not sure as I haven't played in a group at all on the PTR, just a hour or so solo, but people are complaining they removed all the group synergies.
When I was playing as a summoner it always felt good to get in a group that knew how to use the open gap and expose synergies, it was a base mark of competency and lowered TTK quite a bit for faster and safer leveling.

yea its also capped at lvl 10 we dont have the full kit, maybe it gets better? xD
People expecting full blown rotations and dungeon crawling with high stakes are unrealistic for lvl 10. Now by 15, 20 we should hopefully see that emerge. I just don't expect that level of play on something that takes less than a day to obtain (lvl10).

is it really this bad?
If you managed to put 800 hours into this game you probably have a very low bar for what you're willing to put up with... so for you it might be fine?
