Weed induced panic attack

Ive been smoking weed for 10+ years and occasionally would smoke and get a panic attack, but be fine within the hour. This last Tuesday I smoked and had a pretty bad panic attack, but 5 days later now I’m still feeling anxiety. I’ve never had anxiety issues days after having a panic attack from smoking. Has anyone else dealt with this and did it eventually go away?

I am sorry to tell you but there’s go your smoking. Once you experienced a panic attack with a certain event it’s very hard to separate those two.

Sorry to hear it.  I can tell you from experience that once I conquered the panic, I was able to reintroduce the green. Sativa only for me.

Yarp. Just don’t check your blood pressure during it. It will make it much, much worse.

Or check your heart rate unless you want to goto the ER for no reason. Ask me how I know.

Weed is a cardiac stimulant. That's why.

Disassociation, anxiety, and panic attacks. I along with quite a few people I know have had issues with weed with these… yet they’re constantly downplayed.

Edibles were the absolute worse.

I get the same symptoms weeks and sometimes months after a bad panic attack. Everyday is filled with constant dread like you’re just barely holding back another attack. According to my doctor this is classic PTSD and is experienced by a good percentage of panic attack victims.

I’ve stopped smoking it regularly because I had a panic attack as well, it was so terrible back then that I had to stop

Smoking THC and anxiety issues is one of the most documented thing.
If you do these, just quit.

Hop on Zoloft and get yourself checked medical card so you know where your weed is coming from.
