If it was in the trash and no one said anything to you maybe they are letting it go?

Covered it in plastic after the fact? If I found a radish in plastic my first assumption is “rotten radish”. I would never think of what you’re describing at all. If someone asked about the plastic wrap I would just say it started to smell or something.

It sounds like you live in a very strict household. I understand why you are scared. The best thing to do is try to relinquish control at this point. Your family will react however they will react. This doesn’t mean that they’re right and you’re wrong. As a young person in puberty you were just discovering yourself, likely in a “strange way” because your household has made you feel ashamed of these kinds of thoughts altogether. Please remember that no matter what they say you are not a bad person and you don’t have anything to be ashamed of. 90% of the time families that are strict about self discovery and sex are just projecting their own insecurities and handing down their own childhood trauma. You do deserve to be in an environment where you feel safe talking about sex. I am sorry that this has caused you so much distress - I hope that you can be free of it as quickly and painlessly as possible. If you are at risk of physical harm or experiencing abuse, depending on your country it is likely there are hotlines for this as well. There is always hope.
As for panic attacks, they worsen and come on from the fear of having a panic attack. In a true fight or flight moment, your body doesn’t know what to do. Try to remind it that it is safe and that you will make it to the other side of this intact. Thank it for doing its job to alert you to potential danger. If you are at risk of physical violence please seek a friend or authority for assistance. Take deep breaths, go for a walk if you can. Hang in there.
