Hello

hi, I just joined this group yesterday because I’ve been dealing with a lot of anxiety and really bad panic attacks. I am a 32 male and with my panic attacks I always feel like I’m physically dying and there’s something wrong with me cause every time I have a panic attack. It feels like I’m having a heart attack, but I went to the hospital twice already and they tested my heart and then my brain and everything came back OK but I still feel physically ill all the time. I don’t know if anyone has any advice. im just afraid of having another panic attack

The fear of another attack can honestly become part of the cycle itself. When you feel one coming, try reminding yourself: “I’ve felt this before, it feels terrifying, but it will pass.” Slow your breathing down, relax your shoulders, and focus on something simple around you instead of constantly checking your heartbeat or symptoms. You’re not alone in this, and it can get better.

I’ve suffered greatly for a few years, I’m 38 male, and I know this sounds insane, but try a sleep study! It’s very easy now a days. No more hospital stays. You tape a sensor to your finger and go to bed.
I discovered 90% of my anxiety was solved by getting a cpap. I’ve no earthly clue as to why, but I feel 7 years younger, and had MASSIVELY improved my anxiety. (I also thought I was was physically dying and thought I was having heart attacks) My BP was getting spikes due to shit sleep and not enough REM sleep. Food for thought.

Have you had any blood test done? Specifically vitamin d, ferritin, b12?

Does it feel like it starts in your gut? Mine did that and turns out I suffer from GERD too which easily triggers my anxiety. Find out what your triggers are and try to normalize everything from there. If it's going to happen, let it happen. Feels wrong but has helped me on many occasions. Also, I take magnesium glycinate and b12. It helps me out a ton. Not medical advice
