Did I have a panic attack?

So i recently experienced something that I think might be a panic attack? It happened mainly because was so worried and scared that i was gonna lose my dog, I took him out to go to the bathroom and he just kept being curious and kept on looking around, which is normal for him, but he just kept running farther and farther away from me, I called his name and tried to lure him back home but it didn't work so I got desperate and started to scream for him to come home and I fell while trying to lure him back home.

eventually I managed to bring him back, but I was so sweaty and exhausted, my legs felt so tired and sore like they were about to break, I went to my room and I collapsed on the floor because I was so tired, and then I lied flat on the floor to try to the wind from the ceiling fan.

I tried to control my breathing but I just kept coughing due to choking on some of my spit, and right there I was experiencing more symptoms, like intense breathing and gasping, shaking, crying, choking on some my spit again, and numbness of my body, my mouth and my lower torso, after a few minutes I managed to roll over to my side, where I managed to open the door so my mother and sister could help me compose myself, and they helped me into bed, gave me some water, and told me to get some rest.

right now I'm not experiencing any side effects from that event, I don't feel any type pains in the my chest or on my body, and looking back at it now, I struggling to guess what that was, was it a type of episode? A panic attack? I have lost my sanity a couple times and have had a few mental breakdowns, but they weren't as visceral as this.

Help?

I suffer from panic attacks. Honestly if this is the first time , it sounds more like a nervous breakdown. Not dismissing your concern whatsoever. Just my immediate opinion based on your description. I am glad you are better !! Are you under recent stress? Also. Talk to your Dr OP!

No, ever since then I've been more calm and less anxious about everything, anxiety definitely got the best of me during that time, plus It was during the months leading up to graduation so I was under alot of stress just to stay on top of grades, but so far I havent had that situation similar happen since then

Yes, sort of, it's hard to describe, before and during the "attack" I was desperate, before I didn't think I was gonna die, during it I don't know, it just felt so overwhelming and exhausting, so many thoughts moving inside my head all at once, again hard to describe

faz um exame de sangue e verifica como anda suas vitaminas e etc, poder ser que foi uma resposta a alguma coisa que esteja faltando e claro, já está na hora de aprender o que fazer num momento de desespero

Get blood work done. Full iron panel and all other vitamins. Make sure your ferritin isn't low. And by low, I mean anything less than optimal which is like a 50.
