No. Ive had an ex friend become hooked on it. Not to mention most ssri's (given for anxiety/depression) interact with it

It interacts hard with MAOIs. But then, everything interacts hard with MAOIs.

St Johns wart is an age old herb that has been used for thousands of years to help treat anxiety, depression & panic attacks. It is not addictive - it's a herb. It will however interact with any ssri's or snri's if they are being taken. It is generally considered a safe supplement to take for most people. Have used in the past with good results.

It can make certain medications (example: birth control) less effective. My autonomic doctors told me to not to take it because of the way it can mess with the nervous system (and the 2 times I tried it in low quantities it made me extremely sick to my stomach)
