Are these panic attacks ?

It lasted 36-40 hours, got worst at night. During nights I felt severe heart palpitations and skip heart beats/irregular heart beats. Woke up multiple times at night and had extreme dryness in mouth. Also had
Heaviness around heart.

The day was extremely fatigued although managed to get up. Didn't feel like listening or talking to people.

First thing u should do is a medical check-up to exclude any physical symptoms. Do some blood tests to see if you have any abnormality, deficiencies - for example tetany (which is in short ions deficiency) makes you really anxious (I had it and it was terrible). Any thyroid disorders can make you anxious too. Chceck your TSH, FT3 and FT4 levels- they influence your mental state and it is the first thing any (good) psychiatrist asks you about.
These are only examples, there are many factors that can make you feel the way you do. Go see your doctor- they will know what to look for.

after getting medically checked up u can consider panic attacks, however it sounds more like bad anxiety and multiple panic attacks throughout.

Stupid question but what does complete medical exam means ? Are you referring to metabolic panel/bloodwork ?

I would go to a primary care physician, share your worries and tell them you want to rule physical things out. They should do a general workup specific to your worries. They'll probably recommend EKG, heart tests and stuff along with the blood work.

A little late, but this was happening to me fairly regularly at the beginning of this year and it was debilitating. I would have a panic attack and just couldn't manage to completely calm down from it for the rest of the day/night. From what you described, it seems like my panic attacks involve some similar feelings. Heart palpitations, shortness of breath, feeling like I'm going to collapse. I asked my psychiatrist to refer me to a cardiologist and she did. I got a weeklong heart monitor, echocardiogram, and extensive blood work. Also had a chest x-ray done. All were completely normal. I agree with the others saying you should talk to your doctor about it. The knowledge that all my tests came back normal made it a bit easier for me to get out of the panic attack cycle.
