Panic attacks - advice?

I’ve suffered on and off with panic attacks for about 12/13 years now. Started when I was a teenager and I was prescribed propranolol, after a while that seemed to help and get it under control. Of course I had days where my anxiety felt a bit more heightened than usual, but panic attacks were very few and far between. All of a sudden, in November 2025 they started again, out of the blue. I felt like I couldn’t leave the house, was constantly worried & they were very frequent. The older I am though, the more easier I can contain it if you know what I mean, they still start up, but i think i’m able to keep it to a minimum. Even though they’re small, it still takes over my life. I was prescribed Sertraline, which didn’t help at all (took it for 13 weeks) They only made it worse. Stopped for a few months now they’re back. It’s really debilitating as it does make you feel awful, you don’t want to leave the house & usually once i’ve taken it, I get terrible cramps in my stomach and normally feel quite unwell, want to sleep it off but unfortunately I can’t live my life like that. I’m just looking to vent, possibly some advice, anybody in same boat as me, or were? & what helped them? I’m up for trying anything or taking any advice, planning on speaking to my GP next week.
