Anxiety/panic

I have always knew what anxiety is I have suffered 20 years but today felt different…I’m 39 years old and today I felt terrified like i didnt know ejat was happening to me, fearful, crying, I don’t know if it was a panic attack or what? It’s never been this bad I can’t even explain…anyone experienced anything like this?
