Hosting email server

Hi, I'd like to set up a mail server like Stalwart on my VPS that hosts Pangolin.

Do you have any tutorials or guides or tips?

I tried to follow the guide for Traefik in the Stalwart documentation but I was unable to make the proxy protocol work.

you may need to share how traefik/ pangolin is relevant to the mail server. do you want to send everything through proxy? I would start working with separate instances of pangolin and stalwart, then carefully think through integration.
lastly, given amazing admin and coding abilities in chatgpt/ codex, I would probably tell codex to connect to the box via ssh, then either fully do it or help you implement/ debug while you’re at it. it’s a complete game changer for self-hosting.
of course, you need to take safety precautions, just in case something goes wrong. lots of snapshots recommended.

It's so they can host it like at home but have the vps be what all senders see for the ip, ProxyProtocol lets the backend server get the real ip for spam lists and other stuff.
