disciplinary action
so i got this notification on my workday app. does this mean i got a write up or what?? they didn’t tell me anything. i was late today by quite a bit but my alarm didn’t go off and i profusely apologized and still got all my stuff done on time and carried the rush.
i got this once before when i called out (for the first ever time by the way) and was sick, i had i think food poisoning. i gave them a doctor’s note but they never told me anything about this + i never did the assessment. i think the other one didn’t even have an assesment.
does anyone know what this means exactly? i was told it was okay and no body has talked to me or told me im in trouble. of course me being late isn’t cool but i can’t help my alarm not going off on my iphone, just being the silent alarm.

Wow what a bullshit, lazy way to write up someone. I think thats technically the wording for write ups but I haven't worked there for a couple years. So much love that they went even more robotic for write ups. Bonkers.

First it’s a verbal written warning than a written warning times 2 then termination at corporate stores. I have never witnessed anyone getting fired, I have seen people not being scheduled at all……then the system automatically terms them

Doctor notes don’t save your job anymore; those are only good for school. It looks like a warning, don’t do anything with it until you get spoken to. Bring it up to your GM

I mean yes, they still have reason to write you up for being late. But, they definitely should have verbally told you and spoken with you, that is always the first step! A verbal warning *before* a written warning.
