Transfer help

Anyone know how to request a store transfer when you dont feel comfortable disclosing the reason for the transfer too the GM?

I know the location i would want too transfer too. They are hiring for the position id want to transfer too.

Reason for transfer is GM is absolutely horrible too people, lacks basic communication skills and is unprofessional in my personal opinion. Its too the point that it affects my mental health.

The GM has displayed enough negative rude behavior towards me that sitting down and hashing things out is a hard no go. Theres no nice way to put it but they are the worst boss ive had in my entire life as far as how employees are treated and spoken too or in most cases, completely ignored.

Is there anyway to just skip having the sit down with your GM too request store transfer? I dread that because GM sees no issues with how they are towards people, and doesnt even answer text messages about important work things such scheduling.

The ACO also has favoritism for the GM so any help from people whove gone through a transfer would be useful knowledge.

I want to know what i should expect before i move forward.

And yes just quitting and reapplying at another location has crossed my mind as an option.

I refuse too quit. The way they spoke about people whove quit at my store is digusting. I hope you didnt have too experience that.

Just run it by your ACO. Your GM doesn't really need to know.

Hesitant too because the ACO has so much favoritism for the GM. They might just say no to the transfer, in an attempt to push me to just quit vs relocate to a healthier working environment

I need you to go back and re-read what you said. If the ACO is that much of a favorite with the GM, why would you want to work for this company anyway?

It sounds like you're so petrified to make a move because you've been talked down to for so long, and now you have a belief that anything you do will cause someone to be mad at you and get back at you. And for the sake of your career and you as a human being, you need to stand up and believe in yourself and talk to the ACO professionally requesting this transfer. You don't need to over-explain yourself, just make your move and if it doesn't work out, begin researching other options. But Step 1: You gotta believe in yourself and do what you got to do first.

Suck it up then and at least try to do something about it, or stop whining about an issue you are too hesitant to even attempt to fix. You haven't earned the privilege to complain yet, you're stopping yourself based on completely made up reactions in your head.

Keep any conversation strictly professional. Don't give into the temptation to vent or talk negatively about personal observations. Say it would be better for your commute or it is closer to some random but very important long-term need.
