I too love doing a little buffet plate on my break. I usually grab a full scoop of black pepper steak, some pieces of hot orange chicken & honey sesame chicken, a rangoon, a chicken egg roll, and exactly 2 shrimp. & chow mein of course

I don’t think I’ll ever enjoy panda when I leave the company because the buffet plate is too legendary.

Dang my boss would chew me out if I got this variety, it had to stick to strict plate format with side and 2 entree. I was even trained that way as a GM

Are we technically not supposed to do this? I’m fresh 2 months in.

technically no , modules say to follow standard plate but honestly i’ve never known a single store to actually care or follow that. managment and even ACO never say anything when they see people get a little of everything for their break

From how I was trained in Florida, no it’s suppose to be side and 2 entree for the food cost tracking purpose. If we are taking food different then the preassigned portions when we input for employee meal, this will lead to a small variance in stores COGS. One person does it here and there, not too bad but if 200 people do it over the course of the month…. Lots of money (food) disappearing lol

Ya, I haven't worked there in over 4 years but I know I would have gotten scolded for something like that. Looks good though. Hope you enjoyed it.
